Newsletter 30 October 2020

Kia ora everyone,

Just a few notices today.

1) Happy Hour is on next Friday 6 November from 4 to 6pm at the Port Hills Uniting Parish church hall on Augusta Street, with Jim Park speaking about his trip to South Korea a few years ago.

2) Check out our new online platform for the Learning Exchange. I’ll be shoulder tapping a few people to add their learning events over the next few weeks and months. Eve Wingerath and Dean Harliwich have put a lot of hard work into planning and developing this as the one stop place to find out about learning events in our area.

3) The Sumner Community Carols are on Thursday 10 December at 6.30pm on the Sumner Village Mall carpark outside the Headless Mexican.

4) Don’t forget to add your feedback on the Bays Area Skate Park at The location isn’t up for discussion but the design is.

We have a new logo thanks to Eve Wingerath! Changing our logo has been five years in the making.

Finally, our AGM is on Wednesday 25 November at 5pm at the big table in the upstairs foyer at the Matuku Takotako Sumner Centre.

Ngā mihi,
Eddie Hayes
