Hi everyone,
A couple of notices:
Community BBQ at the OK Corral – Redcliffs New World site – Sunday 3 March 2013, 11 am – 2 pm. Kids, bring your scooters or skateboards. Food donated by Foodstuffs. Everyone welcome. Enquiries: Reg (03) 384-3830
Redcliffs Community Garden – did you know this existed? It is located behind the Union Church on Augusta Street, and we’re looking for more people to get involved.
Age Concern Accredited Visitor Programme – if you contributed just one hour of your time each week, you could make a big different in the life of an elderly person. Once we have enough people interested, Age Concern staff will come out and hold an orientation session.
Sumner Tea & Talk – we’re looking for some more volunteers for this group which runs on Mondays, 10.30 – 11.30 am in the old Sumner School hall kitchen. Let me know if you’re interested.
Senior and Children’s Music – are you a senior who would like to learn to play the xylophone? Beth Cohen and I are looking at developing music classes for seniors AND school children together. If so, let me know. This is very much in a planning phase.
