The Food Forest

Under a canopy of nut and fruit trees; herbs, berries, leafy plants, root crops and ground cover grow creating diverse edible plants that attempt to mimic the ecosystems and patterns found in nature. Roz Rolls is our Food Forest Coordinator who works with the volunteers and maintains this asset at Ko Taku Reo, the former van Asch Deaf Education Centre. They meet each Tuesday morning to maintain and enjoy working in such an amazing venture.
