Sumner Silver Band

Formed in the 1880s it is now a thriving band with 30 players plus a development band. The band plays regularly ta concerts and events including ANZAC Day, Remembrance Day, Christmas Carol Services, market day and many more. They rehearse each Thursday at Redcliffs school. Conductor Vicki Van Uden has been very proactive in recruitment with youngsters and a development group to feed into the main band with her back ground in music teaching and conducting has ensured the bands future, from learners to experienced bands people.
